How Eric Holder and Michael Steele Spent Their February

I had no problem with what Mr. Holder said. the "Nation of cowards" was directed at ALL of us. How many blacks are willing to discuss race with their white friends? How many whites are willing to discuss race with their black friends? Right, not many.

I am black and I have quite a few friends who are white and there is only one female I am comfortable discussing the race issue with. And, to be honest, she was the one who initiated the first discussion on race and since then, I have had no problem discussing it with her. The others, NEVER, never have I initiated a conversation on the subject. Why, because I am a coward, that's the truth which I must admit.

A week after the Nov. 4 election, he asked me why 98% of blacks voted for Barack Obama, if it's because of the color of his skin. And, what created a tension between us, was when he insinuated that my support for him was because I am black and he is black.

What I am saying, is that whites or blacks should not feel insulted by Mr. Hoder's comment. Because, we really have not discussed the issue of race as much as we should.

The GOP believe that blacks are idiots; Michael Steele is an idiot, a token idiot. Can't he see that had it not been for us having a black president (of mixed race), he wouldn't have been appointed the chairmanship?
