'Slumdog' Filmmakers Meet With Poverty-Stricken Child Stars

The greedy bankers/execs. on wall street signed contracts to get bonuses. ALOT of us posted comments saying they shouldn't get a dime because the banks aren't doing well. The slumdog kids signed a contract as well, but, here we have MANY people pretending as if they do not know the meaning of a contract, and therefore the filmmakers should give these children MORE than they are entitled to. Alot of you would say I am comparing apples to oranges all because you do not want to see the hypocrisy in your demands/statements. What, I am trying to emphasize is that a contract was signed, therefore, the filmmakers are not obligated to the child stars and their families. They did not know that the film would have done so well, nor did the greedy execs on wall street knew that because of their greed they would put the country in an economic mess.

My heart goes out to the children and I do hope they are put in a home as soon as possible, but I really do resent how some of us are making DEMANDS on the filmmakers.
