Conservative Blog Commenters Target Malia Obama With Racial Slurs

I have always stated that children should be off the table (celebrity & politicians) - including Sarah Palin's children (regardless of the fact that she uses her kids mercilessly to promote her political ambitions - far more than any politician I can recall).

Needless to say, the comments made at FreeRepublic.com were nauseating and just down right mean. It makes no sense for those commenter to say liberals make fun of Sarah Palin's children, hence their reason for having been so raucous when talking about the 11 year old Malia Obama.

MSNBC interviewed a representative of FreeRepublic and he stated that FreeRepublic does not need to apologize for the comments by its users and the views expressed are not those of FreeRepublic. He went as far as to mention that Sarah Palin's children are often attacked. Go figure!

I often visits liberal and conservative blogs and the conservative blogs are by far more mean spirited than what you find at the liberal blogs I've visited. I have never seen such mean spirited comments as were directed at Malia, directed at John McCain's or Sarah Palin's children. I did not find Dave Letterman comments about Bristol Palin (yes, I said Bristol, because he was referring to Bristol and not Willow) amusing.

Sad to say, this will not be the end of attacks on politician children.
